Katrine Kristiansen Musikk Skole was established in 2014 and is located in Kragerø, Norway. It also has a branch in Stonehaven, Aberdeenshire, UK.

Katrine teaches both children and adults.
Beginners, intermediates on all levels, professional musicians in need of new perspectives – all are welcome to make an appointment for a free trial lesson (1/2 hour).

In addition to one-to-one tuitions she also offers ensemble teaching for any combination of instruments and also small vocal groups.

Children under the age of 6 also enjoy expressing themselves musically. Children groups (4-6 children per group) are formed according to market demand. Katrine works with Orff instruments – stimulating the children towards an early understanding of rhythm, a natural joy of singing and also preliminary music notation. Call or send an email to be put on a list – when there are enough participants, the group sessions will be launched.
Katrine Kristiansen Music School prices:
Duration of lessons: 45 minutes or 1 hour.
45 min: £ 30
1 hour: £ 40
Ensemble lessons: £ 15 per participant per session
Children groups: £ 10 per child per session
The teaching schedule is flexible and tailored to each individual student or group. All genres are eligible – classical, jazz, folk music, modern music, church music. All students provide their own instruments (except for organ/piano and Orff instruments) .
Once a year there will be a house recital where students play for other students and their family and friends. The recitals are an important source of inspiration for the students and it is always enjoyed by the audience.
